The West Hollywood condo of “Twilight”star Ashley Greene burned down on Friday, thanks to an unattended candle that lit a couch on fire. One of Ashley’s two dogs died, but Ashley, her brother and her boyfriend escaped unharmed.
Actor/ singer Jared Leto once got a really messed up gift from a fan. He says, quote, “, “Someone cut their ear off once and sent it to me, that was very strange. A whole ear. The Van Gogh move. The note just said, ‘Are you listening?’ I never knew who it was, who’s missing their ear out there.”
A Chicago high school won a contest in which the prize was a visit from Rihanna. So 2,500 kids waited in the school gym . . . and Rihanna showed up somewhere between three and a half to five hours late. And then she only stayed for 16 minutes.
Winners at Saturday night’s Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards included Johnny Depp, Kristen Stewart, LeBron James,Justin Bieber and Katy Perry. Meanwhile, some people got slimed including Sandra Bullock, Pit Bull, Dwight Howard, Nick Cannon and the show’s host, Josh Duhamel.
The animated caveman movie “The Croods” took the top spot at the box office this weekend, making $44.7 million. It beat “Olympus Has Fallen”, which made $30.5 million in 2nd place.
The “New York Post” says “Saturday Night Live” boss Lorne Michaels wants Seth Meyers to replace Jimmy Fallon on “Late Night”, assuming Fallon IS in line to take over “The Tonight Show”. Lorne also executive produces “Late Night”. Tina Fey was also considered, but apparently she’s “too busy” to do it.
Will. I.Am says the Black Eyed Peas are NOT replacing Fergie. He Tweeted, quote, “The rumors on Fergie being replaced are so false . . . [it’s] the furthest from the truth . . . [we’re] family.”
The new season of Dancing with the Stars is only one week old and already there’s a diva on set. According to TMZ, Bachelor star Sean Lowe has a severe attitude, and has been telling producers exactly what camera angles he needs to be shot from. In addition, he’s reportedly been bragging to other cast members that “this show NEEDS me.”
Kelly Osbourne was welcomed back onto the set of E! Fashion Police. She has been off the show since suffering a seizure during a live taping.
